The WLP Partnership consists of WLP International (liaison organization based in Bethesda, Maryland) and our autonomous national partners. Our partners are women’s human rights organizations, located primarily in Muslim-majority countries, which are strong, credible, and well respected in the broader community and among their constituencies. While each partner is autonomous and independent, we all share a common vision, values, and aspirations across the Partnership. In particular, we promote an egalitarian view of leadership, built on a participatory and democratic philosophy that values individual skills and contributions.
